What did Gary Coleman get?

You seem to live in a blind eye view where no one else live in your state. If you actually open your eyes to include everyone else, you would notice how this recall went down and just how unhappy everyone else was around you are about Davis.

The recall was a referendum on Davis and how unhappy they are on Davis. Nothing else.

Davis was in hell of a trouble from the get go. If you actually check the exit polls, you would notice that his job approval rating was 26% in the good side. You're not going to win anything with a job approval rating of only 26%. No one will win anything with a job approval rating of 26%. That's how unhappy people were of him.
To top it off, half of the women voters supported Arnold despite the allegation of groping. Normally women supporters don't support Republican. Especially a republican that has allegation of misconduct shadowing him. But still half of them supported him. That can tell you just how ticked off they are about Davis.
Add to the fact that 1/3 of Davis party base abandon him and supported Arnold. You're not going to win anything with losing a third of your base. And your base must be really ticked at you to be abandoning you like that. And even 1/3 of hispanic voters abandon Davis and voted for Arnold despite the fact that Davis signed a law so that illegal immigrant can get driver license. Then there's the fact that 30% of union household voted for Arnold as well despite that fact all the union heads in California telling them not to. This all summed up just how unpopular Davis is and just what this recall is about.

Plainly, a vote for Arnold was a vote against Davis. Arnold may lack experience but at least he's sincere enought to want to change things...

yay to chi. :|

schools over soon, yay..

anyways, who says he doesn't understand politics? More than likely he understand politics. Just because he didn't give specific doesn't mean he doesn't understand. In fact it's pure smart campaigning by not giving specific and winning.
Why would you want to give specific and leave yourself open to attack from the left or right from those that don't like your plans, when you can avoid it?
Better to give specifics after you get elected when people can't do anything about it afterwards then to give specifics right away and have people not vote for you cause they dont' like your plan.

Blargh.
