What kind of impulse is this? I don't understand. You took an impulse response of all that equipment? How would you use this IR with say an Axe-Fx?

It's a regular impulse response from the Mesa and the mic.
I just deconvolved the DI signal coming out of the amp rather than a sine wave.
The result gets closer to the original sound that way to my ears.

Pretty much makes sense to me, using a DI instead of a sine wave to get closer to the original. Nice insight!

Nope. It's just the Speaker, the cabinet and the mic.

thanks for the impulse. did a quik mix with it. i use my blackstar metal pedal - interface - impulse- little eq and comp on guitarbuss. sound relly good
