Grave Digger - Rheingold and Forest Stream - Tears of Mortal Solitude are my two favourites so far this year.

this was a 2002 release

i saw them this year live - they were so fuckin brilliant that i am still stunned. this was one of the best gigs i've ever been to

This year wasn't disappointing in the least, it's had much more amazing releases than last year, and it's only halfway done.
