Yer Favorite Death Album?

Back in the '90s I heard The Philosopher on MTV and thought "whoa, bass solo in death metal?!" but I could only find Symbolic on Columbia House, so I bought that one. Didn't much care for it and later sold it. I bought it again years later when everyone said ZOMG ZAMAZING and I still don't like it. I think I gave away that second copy, but really don't know/care.

Individual Thought Patterns is pretty good. Human is fucking awesome! Some day I would like to buy Scream Bloody Gore.

Anyhow my #1 pick is the Control Denied album because I like that better than any Death release.

I really like Death, but I rarely listen to them besides Scream Bloody Gore (amazing running album). Symbolic has grown on me since my tastes have widened into prog rock tho

Think I might be in the minority here, but Individual Thought Patterns is my favorite by a long shot. Its unrelenting! Tons of technical wankery without losing the feeling and soul (I'm looking at you, Sounds of Perseverance).

Somebody once told me I'd poop myself over Human. Thoughts?

Why did it take you so long to get Human and why do like Human but not Symbolic?

I revisited Symbolic just yesterday and it's a perfectly fine. Sorta.
