album that first got me into Solefald a couple years ago... perfect blend of their total weirdness of the first two albums, and their newer style, as found on the last 3 albums. and you gotta love the lyrics concept...

i'm still waiting for the reissues of the first two albums, Avantgarde Music retards.. :/

Well, If you're a fan it's a must. Else, I'd say it's just good, not über-outstanding. It does have its share of masterpieces, though.

Definitely Black For Death. Ex aequo with Red For Fire...

I don't like very much Solefald's avantgarde, but these two albums mix it with Viking and the result is a masterpiece.

BfD is actually Solefald's worst album , maybe you should buy the re-releases of Neoninsm and Teh Linear Scaffold ?

Hhm. I really like "Red for Fire, Black for Death" and specially "Silver Dwarf". The other songs have a very good level, although they're not that memorable. But overall I do enjoy that album.

Black for Death is excellent! Even the Lokassenas are ok. Allfathers and Sagateller belong to the best the band has written, and the rest is also very good.
