Ok, so I read all the other posts and I decided to start my own just to have a less opinionated view of what it was like being there. Never being at the House of Blues before had me pretty psyched to be there. But once the bands took the stage it was near impossible to view the action. The TV monitors made the show look mediocre. The times I got to see the stage the action was no less than outstanding. The H.O.B. acoustics kinds suck depending on where you are in the venue and considering how low the ceilings are, if you're near 6 feet tall alot of people paid to see the back of someones neck. Both bands sounded great. I realized that there is some kind of bipartisanship regarding singers. Maybe Anthrax should tour with both BUSH and BELLADONNA to please all you whiny bitches out there. Songs they nailed right on the head were: "Caught in the Mosh" "Medusa" "Antisocial" "I'm the Man" "Among the Living" "I am the Law" "N.F.L" "Panic" , "Keep it in the Family" was okay. My comments on Bush I will leave it out of this review just because I am a musician and I haven't had not near the success these two have achieved in their music careers to judge them, otherwise I'm sure they would have never made the cut. Although I like Bush on Bush songs and Belladonna on his. Keeping it simple and moving along. It would've been great to see them at the Aragon. Another thing. CC Deville will never reach metal status as Danny Spitz. Don't ever do that injustice again. PLEASE! All guitar solos were right on top and on some songs they played with the tempo and arrangement. Anthrax also had the balls to experiment with the writing structure of the songs just to be ballsy I guess. I was impressed. For those who didn't notice, you weren't paying attention. I'd like to see them at a bigger venue and a nice set of local and national bands opening for them. Keep up the good work guys!
