This would be a tough one for me. Living at home while working full time has afforded me too much disposable income, I've become quite attached to things like fancy beer, food, buying music/video games/movies/books, etc whenever I want.

The problem with libraries: They don't have the books I like, and I live in germany and hate reading english books.
COmputer games / CDs, I'd survive without.
For the most part, that is my consumption summed up. CDs, books, computer games. 2 or 3 hauls per year, not overly much. I spend most of my money on beer, food, friends and travelling

if you include things like beer, coffee, gasoline, drugs and burritos in necessities i'm pretty much already there...except for the occasional record splurge and going to shows. that's a pretty broad definition of necessities though, i don't think gas should count...

Could I? Sure. Would I ever try it? No. I don't buy much as it is now...maybe 1 cd per month. The majority of my foolish spending is on food and booze. We eat out all the time. Such a massive waste of $.

in umeå (town of 100,000 residents) the library has almost literally any book you could ever think of
