you can't play this

Fine, I'll get around to it when I finish making my Katatonia cover. Maybe. I've already proven I can play I Voyager minus solo, I might sard this shit. And if you thnk I'm bitvhing out because I can't play it then I really don't give a damn.

Sorry I was so mean Azal I'm just depressed and on more drugs than I can count.

meshuggah suck and thats not hard to play, i know at least 5 thrashers who are 18 who could play that with ease.

You're out of your mind. First of all, just because there's alternate picking in it doesn't mean any thrash head can play it.

The picking is easy...it's the change-ups that fuck you. I guarantee you that most people who say that's easy are playing it wrong and on the wrong accent. Thrash metal is simplistic and boring if it's not done well because it's all 2/4 and 4/4 time signatures with boring alternate picking riffs that a monkey could play. Wanna play thrash? Build your right hand up a little bit and fret power chords and voila. Wanna play Meshuggah? Separate your mind from your hands, don't listen to the other guitar, and try to follow a rhythm that is constantly changing and has no turnaround. I like thrash as well, but it's not the most difficult of genres to play. It's all stamina and zero thinking. Solos are the most difficult part of it, but we're talking rhythm. Power chords, fast alternate picking, a few triplets here and there, some chug-a-chug 4/4 time sigs and that's about it.

Oh yeah, and they're playing 8 STRING GUITARS, not some 6-string guitar with 0.42-0.09 strings that are like playing dental floss. They practically play themselves they're so fast. Try picking that fast with shit like .60 - .13 strings. It's practically a fucking bass string.

Calm down. Man you've got a temper worse than most chicks or even Axl Rose. Nobody's threatening you and you should stop implying statements that haven't even been made.

I've never heard your playing, so I don't know if you can play this. But what I do know is that this is hardly comparable to a track like "I, Voyager" at all (see Dead Winter's post, he pretty much nailed why this is pretty hard to play in its entirety).

Let's just say, if you can pull this off correctly in its entirety and in one take... i'd be pretty surprised (I would say this to every guitarist who claims this).

Maybe you should really look for professional help. Sometimes it seems like you're having some sort of psychosis.

Yeah, I'm actually thinking about selling my 7. Probably gonna put the money towards a down payment on a house.

Give me 2 guitars. One standard tuning and one 2 whole step down and I'm a happy man.

This isn't hard. Plus, Meshuggah only has two okay albums, Contradictions Collapse and Destroy Erase Improve and maybe Chaosphere. The lack of melody is what turns me off. I listen to Meshuggah when I am full of RAAAAAAAAAGGGGGEE.
