"British perspective"? More like rubbish perspective. :loco:

Frasier? That was just fucken 'orrible mate!! (Granted 1 or 2 episodes were excellent).

The Office (UK) > *.*

Extras was good too.

Seinfeld is genius, and Curb your Enthusiasm is phenomenal. Larry David can do no wrong.

Blackadder and Red Dwarf are teh win.

Young Ones was genius. And from it stemmed "Bad News"...

well blackadder became more the straight man in the last 2
it was really the first series where blackadder was a 'comic character'
Indeed, as centuries passed by, brain cells were increased in the Blackadder family. On the other hand, Baldrick became dumber and dumber in each season.

This guy however, remains my favourite Blackadder character:

I'm ignoring you now.

;)

 I'm so damned confused by this. Ignoring me in the thread or actually using the ignore function? PMSing today and being overly sensitive? Trying especially hard to be an asshole? I really did want an answer even though I don't suspect you'd have one worth a shit.

Extra smilie to lighten up post: :loco:

I don't think I've ever spoken to a British person who thought Seinfeld was funny. I don't either. Funny how it's SO popular amongst Americans but seemingly nobody else.

The Office (UK) is better than everything.

So far the intelligent Americans in this thread are right, and with the exception of Trylakos, all the stoopid non-Americans are wrong.

You associate the only intelligent Americans with watching the show Seinfeld?

I'm sick of hearing that bullshit. They were talking about Seinfeld the other day on TV and some guy said something like "I'm just amazed anyone but a New York Jew would get it." Why the fuck does anyone think that?
The same reason why people say you have to be British to enjoy Monty Python, or black to like Chris Rock. Or, more fitting I suppose, why someone would say you have to be a NYC Jew to think Woody Allen is funny.

PS: ALL of the above are Hi-Lar-I-Ous.

I'm just a dumb lazy Southerner afterall. I don't understand you city folk and your crazy comedy. *spits*
seconded.
the funny thing is that not one iota of the show was filmed anywhere near new york city. and i believe seinfeld was the only person who actually maintained a new york residence. and maybe larry david.

@ young ones: one of those guys, cant remember which, was the voice of "shut up you bastards!" in primus's "los bastardos"

oh yeah, Seinfeld was all shot in LA. This girl I know was an extra on a few episodes, she was working in the film world out there.
there are not many sitcoms shot in NY, only thing I can think of that was shot here, was the Cosby show and it's later spinoff.
