Hey dudes. I've been working on a clip. It's a clip of a song from my band Anthem Alone. It's not in the correct order the the actual song, but I figured I post it.

Snare's a little thin right now, and drums are a tad loud, but I didn't feel like fixing it atm. It's mainly to test the guitar tone.:hotjump:

EDIT: Also note that there's no editing done to the guitar/bass so, pardon some slop section.

sounds preety good!, maybe the tone is like TOO there in your face, i'd use some low shelving starting from like 7k to get rid of some harshness too (seen Ermz's thread?), and i'd try to pick up the cab weight a little more.

Needs LESS ssl.

what did you use on that bass? It sounds great

Thanks! Guitars are all 5150II+Mesa Oversized cab.

Drums... Are all Superior drummer hehe. Like I said, I mainly did the clip as a guitar tone test, and I could possibly use some of those superior tones for blending with real drums.

I don't do any drum processing within the SD2 mixer though.. Just do a multichannel out route.

What processing have you done outside of SD2? Sounds saweeeet.

I also LOL'd a little at the "more SSL" :p Good man!

Just the Channel comp from SSL for kick and snare + some waves EQ really is all! It didn't take a lot to get the sounds I was looking for, which was quite surprising.

I used a side chain comp for the drum buss too (NYC method, is what it's also called). That really helps to create an ambiance.
