Your Best Nightmares

What are you best / coolest nightmares that you've had? I mean bad dreams not fears.

Mine : I dreamt that I woke up and I looked up at the ceiling and I could see this big ball of lightning. It was zapping me so that I couldn't move or wake up.
Also I once dreamt that some people crucified me in my sleep and I woke up nailed to the wall.
I saw the funny side once I really woke up...
Don't know where that one came from.
I mean I don't think I have a Jesus complex or anything...

Can anyone analyze?

The only dreams I have are the kind of dreams people have while on shrooms.

Well this is not exactly my best, but I used to have this reoccuring dream through-out a period of three months, it was not consecutive, but it persisted through a three month time frame.

I would dream that I was in some dessert in the middle of nowhere far away from civilization.

Well in this dream within the dessert I was like in this little shack like structure, unable to escape, I remember panicking attemting to get out, but I was unable to, I was stuck in this shack in the middle of no where, it was just so odd, and it was dark too in the shack. In the process of trying to escape I would suddenly awaken from the dream.

The same thing would happen everytime I had this same dream... I would realise my situation then start to panick, pounding at the walls then wake up.

It was really weird reoccuring dream but interesting nonetheless.

I once dreamt of headgehogs! and they told me to be a dinner lady when I grew up!

I remember seeing the same dream for a few weeks when I was a kid, about five or so. It was a real nightmare, horrible, but yet fascinating at the same time.

In the dream I was abroad with my family and we were visiting an amusement park, where they had a monorail train going all around the huge park at about 10 metres off the ground. Suddenly my parents are nowhere to be seen, so I get aboard the monorail, alone. The next thing I know, I'm a kilometer off the ground, in the monorail train car, and I fall or jump out of it. As I bear down on the ground I can see that I'm going to hit the monorail track, and the moment I should hit it, I wake up.

I loved and hated it, and that is probably the only dream I can remember.

ive had a couple of recurring dreams.
One dream that was cool at the time was when i got put into a headlock and all my teeth fell out...but then one of my friends told me that means someone was gonna die...so for a while i was really jumpy...nobody died yet thankfully.

I had a dream where I had to assimilate with an angel. Except this angel wasn't one with wings. It was a monster, a giant monster, of god. And a man forced me to reach out to it, and the flesh of the angel twisted and spun out towards me, as my hand also twirled and curled around it's flesh. We assimilated and became one, and then I felt what was inside the angel. Inside was detah like oblivion. This dream has given me an idea of what death would be like. It frightened the living crap out of me.

Also, when ever I have a falling dream, instead of waking up before I hit the ground, I always hit the ground, and feel pain. I feel pain in dreams. Though it isn't the same as real pain, it's just dreamed pain.

I have a lot of completely abstract dreams, just spinning shapes, and colours, and these dreams always seem to relate to stabbing.

Another reoccuring feature in my dreams are girls wearing skirts that are in the shape of a bell, and they float above the ground, spinning and gliding around. I dream about monotonous work, like when I worked in the supermarket, and these damn spinning girls all over the place.

I was also rapped be a giant lizard/dinosaur/dragon/reptile of somesought. I remember loving it's scaley skin. It was really horrible, but at the same time I always thought the black scaled skin was so cool.

As a child I had a reoccuring dream in a certain house, that the window in my bedroom came alive, and it would slide along the wall, onto the floor, under my bed, and up the wall next to me, and it would eat me. That dream reoccured frequently for the time I lived in that house.

My dreams are also always really long. They go for hours, and a long story always progresses, like a really long movie.

Actually this was like in 1994, so it was quite some time ago as you can see. I had no issues back then, so my dream was not a result of my personal life during that time.

Last night I dreamt I was some Protoss (from Starcraft) assassin creature of some kind, and I snuck in to kill a Protoss zealot...and I sat in the corner of some room waiting and there was this big dog-like creature chained to a pole very close to me.

For some reason it felt like I was there before, and I tried talking soothingly to the dog-thingy but it growled and jumped and started biting my chin, and I woke up.

That's when I felt my chin still in some jaws and I freaked out...turns out my blanket was curled in such a way that it felt like my chin was in a mouth...scary as hell hehe.

the one nightmare that i still remember went like this: I woke up in my bed at night, only my bedroom was very huge and it was.... filling with water. my door was locked and my windows weren't there so i got on my bed and waited as the room filled with water to the very top except for about 4 feet from the ceiling... that's when the great white shark entered and began circling my bed with me on it. you can guess what happened next, i can still see it to this day and ever since i've pretty much refused to get in the water whenever i've been to the ocean.

Worst Nightmare in the world:

You are dreaming and like you meet this gorgeous woman, you're about to "bury the hatchet" so to speak, and all of a sudden, you either you wake up , or you are replaced with some guy pornstar...WTF!

In my most memorable nightmare I was watching television in some house and there was a thunderstorm. A flash of lightning lit the sky and standing in the window was some guy just staring at me with this evil blank stare. I ran to the kitchen and another flash of lightning came and he was in the kitchen window, into the living room, same thing. In the dream my breathing became very heavy and movement was seemingly impossible, as hard as I tried I could only move in a sort of slow motion. I finally made it to the front door and ran down this street, and then I woke up, heart beating fast and very sweaty.

I’ve made it a bit of a routine, first thing I do every morning (or afternoon) when I wake up is think about what I’ve just dreamed, when I don’t do this I usually forget before I even finish my cereal.
