I've been on a huge Cure kick lately - the three amazing albums are Pornography, Faith and Seventeen Seconds - they all have really dark and disturbing songs. Disintigration is the one everyone raves about and while it's good, it doesn't pack the punch of the three mentioned albums (but way better than anything since).

Anyone familiar with The Wounded?
On their album Atlantic there is this song called Nothern Lights.
Sounds to me like an interpretation of The same deep water as you from the Cure's Desintegration.

Any thoughts?

On their album Atlantic there is this song called Nothern Lights.
Sounds to me like an interpretation of The same deep water as you from the Cure's Desintegration.

Any thoughts?

I've heard the wounded, I really didn't like them though. Too whiny (without being convincing) for my tastes.
