Best Concert of 2006
Exodus - Effenaar Eindhoven
Honorable mention: Benedictum!
Fantastic live band with awesome musicians.
I have seen them live 4 times and every time
they slayed! Why when Exodus as best concert?
Well you can't deny the awesome live power that
is Exodus. With this new lineup and especially Rob
at the vocal spot they imho have returned to the
legendary strength of old!
----------------------------------------
For me 2006 has been a great metal year and of course
the release of Zero Hour's album was the highlight. But
I also discovered a great band in Seventh Wonder. Their
album completely blew me away. Discovering Antiquus
was another surprise. I never heard of them!
I loved the long awaited album of Twister Into Form.
The album is a great blend of melody and technique.
Meyvn was another complete surprise to me. I discovered
them here on the UM forum when poster Pyramaze51
recommended them to me. Notice than I like their album a
little bit better than Outworld's debut album.
Looking forward to discovering a lot of new bands in 2007!
