I have a Cort KX1Q & an Ibanez acoustic I think they're cool , really good buy for beginners (I play since 2005 so I think I'm a beginner ^^)... But my favourite is PRS guitars they have a really cool sound so of I have the money, I will buy a PRS Standard Satin ;)

Ibanez, basically because they make the best cheap guitars, and I can't afford a nice guitar...I got one of the $600 RGs (for under $300 :p) and I really like it. If I could afford a nice guitar...Jackson or Gibson. Dream guitar would be a soloist, but the Rhodes are badass too.

I personally went with Ibanez because I myself have had the best luck with them. I've played more Ibanez's that I truly like than any other guitar.

I own a Jackson KE-2 with Steve Vai Evolutions that I quite likc.

I've played on some genuine ESP's that were really great & I've also played some $2,000 ESP's that I did not like...

Hamer & Carvin both make great fucking guitars. For my next guitar I hope to either buy a Carvin DC177 or a Ernie Ball John Petrucci Music Man  I did research months ago, but I really do not know what to buy at this point.

while back i woulda said that i was exclusivly dean, but....i;ve had some really great guitars, and at great prices. First off, local shop got an Ibanez S320 in that they were gonna sell for 300, but siad they'd let me have for 200. I have not regretted buying that guitar 1 bit, has a very full sound for something so thin and i don;t think i;ve ever played a guitar so light. The stock pickups do great just that the neck pos. PU is a little bland and i wouldn't mind swapping it out. my other little turning point is my schecter Damien 7, i was origintally going to get an Ibanez as a 7-string but at the point i got this i had never really played one so i went with a slightly more expensive option mainly because i liked the finish and the fact that it came with a set of EMG's. great guitar, but EMG 7 string pickups can get a bit muddy at times and i;ve spent alot of time playing with tings trying to get em right where i wanted em but other than that i;ve no problems with it. seems i've stepped away from my old ways (set and neck thru only and a floyd) quite alot lately, and altho the Ibanez has a flaoting trem it;s alot less moody than a floyd rose trem, doesn;t eat strings like a floyd either.

i went other,i have a Moser Star Blazer that i really like, its a huge guitar
that is a real pain in the ass to pack around,Ibanez is my main player right now, that i use to travel between home and the practice spot, the ibby has extreme fret wear,so im going to retire her for a bit,i just bought a cheap Dean V,and was surprised that she was a good player, going to put in a X2N and make her my main player ,im really gassing for a Jackson King V,so thats next on my wish list

I started out with a cheapo Jackson but then moved on to a higher quality Epiphone SG-400, which kept me good company for a few years. Then I upgraded to a Gibson SG Standard Ebony. I basically learnt to play on an SG model, so it seems I am totally fixated on that type of guitar. :) But some day I do want an LP in my collection, too.

Changed my opinion, custom B.C Rich, might be expensive but good. I've just tried a schecter hellraiser, its very good too, liked Jackson's rr3.

I'm not reading 11 pages just to see if anyone has mentioned G&L. A strong second to Gutierrez, a custom builder that rocks.

I've tried lots of brands. I yet have to try ESP and Caparison. Fender all the way. :) I wish I could get a Caparison. It Seems they have Strat'ish necks. So...good for me.
