I went with Sabbath...but on any given day it could be different.
Rush,Yes,Led Zep, Deep Purple and Rainbow have all been my fave bands at one stage in time.

Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band - I even have a tattoo of the Zoso rune. I can't imagine my life without Zep.

Second place is for me Deep Purple, a very important precursor to metal IMO, and I also love Rush, Floyd, and Sabbath. Queen is indeed a glaring omission.

Iron Maiden brought me into metal way back in sixth grade with Number of the Beast (my first concert!). A few Zep tunes from when I was a wee young'un bring back pleasant memories. ELO, Boston, old Aerosmith (prior to break up - Toys In The Attic, Rocks, Back in the Saddle, etc.), Gerry Rafferty, Sabbath, etc.

From that list, I'd have to go with Floyd.

I'll correct one of those errors, although my actual favorites would be Floyd, Rush, & Sabbath...but Yes from The Yes Album through Going For The One is incredible.
