Well, for drum tracking and/or final mastering....:hotjump:

what's the favored plugin ?

I currently have :

-Audition 1.5 stock reverbs = basic, simple

-Waves TrueVerb = ok, but hard to make good presets.

-Waves RVerb = about same to me, and presets really sux.

-Izotope Reverb = pretty good for final master, easy to use too.

-Lexicon Pantheon Reverb = I have it, but haven't used it much.

Waves RVerb personally, Pantheon is ok too but the RVerb has worked better for me so far.

A similar thread was up not long ago... and I'll stand for the same: Rverb and Trueverb are awful. Though, the Tureverb has the very handy "distance" function.

Everything has it's place in time and in some cases, even D-verb can can give you something that a Lexicon 960L won't. Shit can be good.

I find myself using altiverb a lot. I really like it.

And yes it eats you CPU, so you need a good machine if you want to use it.

UAD Plate 140 here, too. It's the exact reverb sound I've had in my head but could never reproduce in hardware or software. Unmatched, IMO; not even convo impulses of a real EMT come close.

My favorite reverbs : SIR (free convolution reverb), UAD Plate 140. Never really liked any Waves reverb plugin personnally (except IR-1)...

SIR is cool and IT's FREE!

Waves are fine, very handy, very standard... a bit like the pawns on a game of chess.:loco:

As far as native goes, I like spinaudio's roomverb for drums and when I'm not using convolution, Lexicon Pantheon can do wonders, especially the halls on female vox... Getting UAD in a few days, so I'll definitely check out the EMT plate...
