I scored 3 MD421's on the Bay for like $250(can't remember, it was around there though).... Only thing wrong with them was dented baskets, which in my opinion isn't even viable to call 'wrong'.
And my tube Conn Strobe tuner for $40 is freaking awesome.
Oh and I scored a sealed Metallica The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited vinyl for $15..... I think they sell for $80 now.

Nothing will beat the private sale to me locally of the mesa boogie DR for $800 USD though.

I had the same thing happen. I drove to Middletown, NY to pick up a 3 channel Dual Rec for $800, drove home, and then sold it on eBay for $1,250 a week later.

Non Ebay, Bought a Peavey rockmaster for $130AUS (knocked em down from $165AUS). It was sitting on a marshall cab loaded with gt12 75s, and when I handed over the cash, the shop assistant asked if I needed a hand with the cab! And I obliged "YES!". To my amazement, he wheeled it out the front where I had already rang a mate with a ute to come and grab it for me. 1 marshall cab and a Peavey rockmaster all for $130AUS is a bargain. Sold the cab 2 weeks later for $800AUS. One tidy profit!

fuuuUUUUUCccckk! Closest thing I had to something like that happening was when I bought a stack of used music, and had the VHS "Arise Alive" Sepultura vid in my stack and they forgot to ring that up. Considering all the money I spent there on music, I didn't even bat an eye...felt good to get something for free for once.

Best Ebay win: Peavey Transtube Supreme 100w head. $160. Got it for a backup, my other guitarist currently uses it as his Marshall AVT head is going tits up.
