things I like about DT
1. the name Dark Tranquillity is just brilliant. It's like an oximoron... you know, when I think of tranquillity I think of the bright blue ocean, calm as hell, and me floating in it. ah. Lovely. But dark tranquillity... it's like, a storm is coming, and it may be tranquil for now, but you're gonna drown. end of.

2. The actual music and how it incorporates everything I love about music without being in anyway tasteless or even unoriginal. They have their rhythmic chugga chuggas and there blasting daga dagas and their soaring waa waa waa wah nah nah nahs <(cathode ray hehe)... but never is a musical idea just there for the catchy or trendy sake of it. It's artisitic purpose is always abundant.

3. The bands look. Every member has a look that's individual to them, not just within the band, but within the metal scene. They don't have emo hair cuts, or ripped clothes, or spiked vests and best of all they don't wear work shirts/ties or boiler suits... like in flames. Stanne is like a cross between jesus, johnny cash and moby... Need more really be said?!
