What the hell. I was just thinking about him. Why I didn't see his name in the Warrel threads and I read this... poor guy. He struggled and was a person I related with on here. Life sucks sometimes.

A touching story and a lot of photos of Warrel's last days

If its true Angela (or most likely AE's label) contractually prevented Jeff from a Nevermore reunion... what a rotten bitch. Arch Enemy sucks anyway. If you like that kind of music, fine, but what a waste of Jeff's talent.

    Memories

Reading everyone's story has been therapeutic. Will and Kevin's story about meeting Warrel and getting to know him... man how fortunate are you guys. He meant a lot to everyone, even to people who never got to meet him or had the chance to see Nevermore live. I felt like I knew him, and through...

It's good to see so many old faces

RIP in Warrel... your music and voice meant a lot to me and got me through many hard times growing up. I hope you are in a peaceful place now. I hope everyone one here is doing well too, this forum used to be lively. Nice to see some familiar names.

Nevermore album with Tim Calvert & Steve Smyth?

Firstly, it must have been 4 or 5 years since I last logged in I hope all you fine people are doing well. Dusting off the cobwebs to say hello =P Warrel said something interesting in an interview, that he would be open to another Nevermore album with or without Jeff. He put it out there that he...

    SONG SURVIVOR III

Hard one, but either Hatebreeder or Towards Dead End. Since I see more votes for Hatebreeder currently, so I'll go with TOWARDS DEAD END! :P

(guitar players) most technical COB album ?

Either Halo of Blood or RRF. Basically the last two albums. I can still play it all :p On a side note, as much shit Alexi gets for sloppy playing live, he is fucking SINGING WHILE PLAYING some damn tricky parts. Not fully focused on just one completely. And combine that with having only one go...

    COB start writing new album

After MANY listens, my favourites are: * Bodom Blue Moon * Days Are Numbered * Damaged Beyond Repair (Sinergy, anyone?) * One Bottle and a Knee Deep (biggest surprise to me for sure, love that melody) I love this whole album, minus Deadman but even that track has some great moments. CoB's most...

Bodom Blue Moon riff should be this :tickled: : (good job btw)

    TAB Thread.

Great job! Everything is how I've been playing it. The only thing that stops me from making tabs is how long it takes to figure out the drums and bass (I'm not too quick with entering values in guitar pro unless it is, well, for the guitar). For bass, do you just decide what would logically be...

    COB start writing new album

Bodom Blue Moon is fucking rad. That chorus melody that is played in unison with the keys is so damn cool. The songs ties back to intro melody very well. The Days Are Numbered is a nice throwback to their earlier work while retaining their sound from RRF. Nice mix of blackened and thrash riffs...

Praises to the War Machine on Howard Stern

Richard Christy is a Nevermore fan, as well as a pretty awesome drummer. Btw, I had no idea Howard was still doing his radio show...

    lol @ 11:00

What's the 2nd song they play? I also wonder if Jeff still has that guitar... Sean Blosl? I bet if you found him today he is still miserable and unlikable. Probably hasn't done anything since his Sanctuary days anyway...
