Thanks. They may have elements of death vocals, but it should not be the driving vocal style like in traditional death metal or brutal thrash. Im familiar with the prog bands you mentioned, but not the thrash bands 'sept Testament and Coroner. Kreator, Sodom and Destruction...hmm. Maybe...

THE best Dream Theater album as far as im concerned.

I think fantasy/fiction lyrics are a great medium to communicate things to the listener, and i actually dont see them as less real or important than normal lyrics. It's just a different medium.

Count me in, i don't like it that much either.

I voted Revelation, that and Serpent's Kiss are the strongest two on here imo. Paradise Lost is the weakest track i think. Just rehash of older stuff with a nice refrain. The solo is pretty forgettable too.

OK, now i've been "subjected" to this DVD aswell. Well that was frankly pretty awful and not worth owning really, watching videos of them at youtube is better. But hey, at least i have an official DVD of them now!

My favorite games are Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Deus Ex, Thief, Diablo II, Worms, Enemy Territory etc. so it's many kind of games. Mostly rpg though. I don't play games anymore that much though because my computer is kind of broken and has been for months.
