    name your faveorite guitarist

I find Emperor is more about the total soundscape, takes my concentration away from the guitar. Like it matters though, they fucking rule. Good call on Loomis too.

    name your faveorite guitarist

**Scott "Wino" Weinrich (ex-The Obsessed, ex-Spirit Caravan)** He is my god. and... Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) Josh Homme (for Kyuss, but NOT for Queens of the Stone Age) and the classic duos... Hank Sherman/Michael Denner (Mercyful Fate) Dave Murray/Adrian...

    An abundance of Barbarians

Man, I would have stuck 'Ironmaster' under my arm, popped down and made you all watch it, because it's a total barbarian classic. But I didn't see this until now (being Saturday), and I'm in no shape to be going anywhere anyway. Barbarian movies rule! 'Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosour Hell' -...

    Old Venom albums

    Overkill and Testament

My favorite by each: Overkill - 'Under the Influence' Testament - 'The Legacy' Actually, that's the only Overkill album I like. Testament have a few others that are ok, but I think 'The Legacy' is their best ("CURSE OF THE LEGIONS OF DEATH," bay-beee!). And that's my two cents.

    Jesse we've got problems

I would imagine you could get more than 100 for an all ages, lots of kids usually come out. Typical all ages show is better attended then a typical bar show. Now, define typical. ...and when you're done defining, see if you can contact John Rowe. I don't know if he has his own PA, but...

    Band Rehearsal Space??

Plesantville is pretty decrepit too... I wouldn't be surprised if that whole place went up in flames one of these days. I've thought of that (the upstairs-in-the-buildings-around-Calio's thing) before too. Hell, I'd say there's a lot of free space around Water/Duckworth St. Sharing jam...

    just sayin hello

If I hadn't had somebody show me what metal is I'd probably be listening to Pearl Jam and NOFX now, because I wouldn't know any better. Thankfully I was shown the path to something better. Playing all ages shows might result in a few of those kids saying something similar in a few years time...

    A Sad Day For Metal

I'm not sad Megadeth are no more, because like Noel said, it's not 'Rust In Peace'-era Megadeth that broke up. 'Risk' was horrible, and I didn't think much of 'The World Needs A Hero' either'. Or 'Cryptic Writings', or 'Youthanasia'. Megadeth may as well have broke up years ago, from where I'm...

    Band Rehearsal Space??

If you find some places let me know too! Good, affordable jam spots seem rarer than golden shit right now.

    CDs for trade

These are for trade. Not for sale! List of CDs, tapes, and assorted merch I am selling is forthcoming. This is a TRADE list that I just posted at a couple of other boards and figure I may as well post here in case anyone here likes CD trading. all originals...no CD-Rs Cancer - The Sins of...

Lots of Black Metal/Death Metal cd's for sale.

Candlemass are pure traditional doom man! I wish you would get rid of it, my tape player ate my only Candlemass album! It was the 'Live' album. Judging by that and a few mp3s, they're an awesome band. Here I am, doom obsessed, and I don't even have any Candlemass anymore. I may as...
