    What was the first song that you listened to from Symphony X that got you into SYMPHONY X? Mine was Smoke and Mirrors, I listened to that about 100000 times on replay, I checked out some of their other stuff and didnt like it too much. Then all the stuff grew on me. I also dont understand why...

    I say that too harshly, 'When All is Lost' is a good song, close second in fact but Electric Messiah needs much more attention.

    When everyone was mentioning how good 'When All is Lost'. I had my hopes up for something SPECTACULAR but it was an average song on the album. HOWEVER, electric MESSIAH is something else.

    The Odyssey vs. Paradise Lost

    Paradise lost is no doubt a good album, but the odyssey is what defines Symphony X. Its magical music and you just don't get that vibe from Paradise Lost.
