Yup, i guess from past experience most of us think the same. Sucks big time when you lose non refundable flights etc. Off to Amsterdam at weekend, will be interesting to see how Biff does ;-)

Correct & Bruce was sick as a dog on the 2nd night in Sheff. I'm hoping they'll did out that footage & use it in the next "era" dvd release. There was very little pro shot stuff recorded during that tour.

Great album. One of my fave Maiden albums actually. Loved the tour aswell. I pretty much followed most of the UK dates...saw 17 gigs that tour ;-) As others said, i think they peaked with SSOASS.

Its great that theyre repeating a bunch of old classic broadcasts but its also very frustrating ! They always seem to air 30mins when the original broadcasts were 45mins (or longer in a couple of cases). Pretty typical of how UK tv always does things half cocked lol Still, that AC/DC set has...

Was Harvey Goldsmiths comment of "Saxon for Donington" wishfull thinking or is it gonna happen? Maybe some of you who talked with the band/manager can shed some light on this ?

Whoah that was a great little gig. As pointed out however, the FOH sound was terrible. Most of the time it was vocals & drums with the guitars only audible during the solos. But, i made the most of things & still enjoyed the night. Having so many songs,some old personal faves were ommited,but...
