There is already a big shake up of music going back to the raw rock sound, ok im not really a fan of a lot of it, but the consumer is looking elsewhere and not in the charts.. Katatonia are doing pretty well for themselves, thats because the underground is not so underground with the internet.

The black Sessions and The Great Cold Distance, when its released.. Oh and forgive me, I'd hardly ever call Katatonia Soft Rock, if anything, to me they are the heaviest band I have ever listened to, the textures are lush!

Thanks for the update and info, it looks amazing, I realise you guys are still very hard at work well I say work, but your in a band, a great dark rock band, and lets face it thats fun!

When the new page came up on the front of this site I like a lot of fans were thrilled to see and hear whats to come.. but we have less than a month for the single, and over a month for the album.. Whens the next info going to start rolling in? Is that video going well? Any sneak previews...

I know that in some of the bigger cities I have often mentioned katatonia and met other who know of them, I don't think you'll notice it yet really, but i do feel that its bubbling, definitly

I can't say much here, but if I listened to DODS yesterday and suddenly felt the new album was much at home with that album in terms of the flow of the sound If you liked the older Katatonia stuff then .. judging by the new song and a little bit more ;), youre going to love this

Here in UK they are starting to get that I feel.

I have started to see/hear Katatonia played in some of my favourite pubs, one is The Purple Turtle in Reading, I think they have "The Black Sessions" in the jukebox.. how fantastic is that.. I know how popular that pub is, and if Katatonia music is being played there then all I can truly say...
