they're not equal but the sound is definitly similar... and Novembre owns most of it's fame to the Opeth mania that was born circa 2002. Two metal bands with progressive roots that combine growls and clean voices. Mikael's singing is definitly not linear... it has as much or even more choruses...

I prefer Tony Laureano. Nile is probably the best band I've seen live... it was just amazing. In their Darkened Shrines is my favourite even though the production in AOTW is much better.

Which Engl do they use? The site only says Engl 100 watt... could be a powerball... or it could be my Ritchie Blackmore :D Putting EMGs on a PRS would be murder... I have EMGs but I have a cheap Ibanez so it doesn't count lol

I'd look into Engl... I've got a Ritchie Blackmore and that baby rules... Head should cost like $1400 and the cab ( Engl standard 4x12 ) maybe $700 so it would be a little over budget but not too much and you'd get one hell of a sound... distortion is just amazing... it's a mean metal machine...

Deliverance sounds pretty influenced by Morbid Angel to me...
