For presonus studio one you can switch meter on master to Kxx. I think it solves the problem ;) cause after properly setting volumes on i think k20 to about zero i get from -6 to -12 on rms :)

So best to record is around -6 and -12?

I think great is revalver cabsim rack cause it had some crunch and dist. Works fine for me! And i definitely add multiband compression on lows cause it kicks! :)

And one from me :D if i understand what harmony guitar is .... so i put them to the channel where i recordet it... never though about that :D so after reading about what brain perceving i will give a try :D

Damn iam dissapointed, i was thinking about settings all faders about -18db and start mixing (about a year) and now all is explained. But i still not understand it fully :D i need that to try in practice :D so if i record di signal at 0dB max it is good or not?

Thank you guys, iam wasnt sure if the vocals were right, cause her voice was really dynamic and i didnt want to compress all. About guitars i try to add low end cause i have the same feeling now. If i add presence fizz will appear so iam trying another impulse on ampsim and iam on the right way...

Hi i did last month that mix for my friends band . Iam still not satisfied with guitars... Do you have any advices how to tweak them? Always my big problem in mixes... guitars... thanx a lot

btw why i have so much low freq peaks in every recorded di guitar? do you know? is it normal? i cutted a lot and i have knob totaly on left on lows
