Well, as you said, his solos ARE some of the most boring ever and as a rhythm player, he isn't that special when it comes to death metal. Technically he might be proficient but as a guitarist, he tends to be boring.

I believe the song is called Hymne IV - Wolf And Man, not Of Wolf And Man. Anyways, the beginning of the song is quite a bore but it improves towards the ending.

Repulsion's Horrified is one hell of an album!

They have some decent songs but all in all, quite boring a band. Give me Suffocation, Vital Remains, Spawn of Possession, Decapitated, Immolation or any actually interesting brutal death metal band over them anyday.

Well, what really makes an ordinary vocalist good? Technicality? Hardly! If you think that way, you shouldn't be listening to metal anyways. It's all a matter of subjective taste.
