Thx guys for your feedback. I understand what you are saying about vibrato. I need to work on that. I do like the solo here though as it was fun to play. Thanks for sharing the videos on technique too. I understand that a guitarist can be judged by vibrato alone. thx again.

I can see your point here. I may disagree with your comments on tone but the progressive elements are not as abundant unfortunately. I think others mentioned this though; the lyrical style is much different now than in the past which is also not necessarily a good thing. Sym X is still my fave...
yes; I agree; that would be very cool; PLUS; if MJR and co. would put out a DVD tutorial; MJR has some stuff on youtube which is super cool but more recent would be great. They all have much to offer us musician wannabes yknow.
