Video blog is a great idea and I'm quite excited about the new album aftre watching this. It seems it's going to be much better than MMA.

I must admit I was surprised (positively) with this album. It's better than I expected. Not a masterpiece but good, solid release.

I think the later albums from Theatre Of Tragedy.

Elend is just great. I love them. I don't even mind that they didn't use the real orchestra on their early albums, I think it adds some cold feel to it (though of course, the real orchestra would sound great too... maybe greater... we don't know it...)

I don't. They were the first and the best to blend all the ingredients of their music (early music, world music, more modern sounds...) so succesfully. So this mix, their music WAS original when it was first created.

Wonderful band, definitely one of my favourites. I don't think any other band can create such a deep, mystical atmosphere.

Spock's Beard and Transatlantic definitely are. IQ and The Flower Kings are quite enjoyable for a big prog fan but there's NOTHING original about them. I can agree that The Tangent is good, still it was all played before. I don't want to write about Ozric Tentacles because I don't know their...

Exactly. Agnete is wonderful singer. Her vocals are varied and full of emotions. I also agree about Angela. i think the only remarkable thing about her is that she's a woman and there are not many women singing that way. Together with the popularity of the band it makes every fan of metal...

Maybe the reason is most of them are boring rip-offs? Not all, Porcupine is ok and I enjoy several Pendragon and Marillion (but later era, without Fish) songs, but not many of newer prog is original and interesting.

Come on, I think this opinion is MUCH exaggerated. In fact they are nothing special, just one of the many indie bands, with several nice songs but that's all.

Van der Graaf Generator and King Crimson are the best prog bands, I like Pink Floyd but I kind of dislike Yes and Genesis (it's strange because I adore Steve Hackett's solo stuff). Highly recomennded bands are also Henry Cow, Faust, Soft Machine, Amon Düül II, Ange, Osanna...

LOL. The only band that sounds like Joy Division 9really sounds, not pretends) is Ikon. And Joy Division rules of course. Fav track - "The Eternal". And what about Warsaw recordings? I managed to get them at last and I like them very much.
