    Theocracy to Europe in October

Oooh, the swiss date looks promising :D It's the day before a christian music festival, but I think I'll try for both. Theocracy, Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, all in two days? Why not? :D

The members of Theocracy are really christian?

I only read the first page before writing this, but I'll post it anyway, even though things do seem to have gotten out of hand :P I must say, I also don't regularly listen to secular music, I play drums to it relatively often, but I do that to build up my talent to be able to honor god more...

    Hobbies/Interests

I have a couple hobbies :D I never have enough time for all but they keep me occupied  -Drumming -Guitar playing -Music in general -Motorcycling (Honda CB600F Hornet if you're interested :D) -Snowboarding (Swiss Alps 'n stuff) -Mountain Biking (Again, Swiss Alps make for great...

    Matt's cat Truman

I'd put my money on it being around the 10:10 mark, at the part where he sings "A dark chasm, a great abyss A vast expanse of nothingness" and so on. I sounds like it's in the background somewhere there.

the "what are you currently listening to" thread

The last couple songs I listened to: Curse My Name - Blind Guardian (Absolutely awesome new album!!!) I Will Go - Starfield (slightly different genre, but very good song) Redemption - Switchfoot (One of my all-time favorite bands) City Bus Love Song - Newworldson (If you don't know this...

    Theocracy @ The Masquerade March 12, 2010

If it's anything like the catholicism in the French speaking parts of Switzerland, it's not a very active belief, more of a tradition. I know a good many people who on paper are catholics but actually are atheists. In some parts (the canton of Valais in particular) the catholic church has a lot...

    Other Bands for Theocracy Fans?

I firmly believe that the church is the body of Christ. Many churches exercise too much "control" over their members, but the bible quite clearly states that we should gather together to worship god and to share fellowship. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with...

    Other Bands for Theocracy Fans?

How come no one has mentioned Neal Morse yet? His album Sola Scriptura is pure awesomeness. Four songs, and three of them are nearly 30 minutes each :goggly: The two previous bands he was in, Spock's Beard and Transatlantic aren't Christian, while his solo band is, but they're not bad none...

    THIS IS REALLY WEIRD!

Can do. I cheated a bit though, my CD is in my car, so I took a picture of the picture-disc off google and made the hole in the middle bigger.

    Is there a connection?

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. That's probably where it originally came from.

    Theocracy fans.....

Somehow I don't really like this too much. It just seems like some generic symphonic/power metal minus some production quality. I guess my musical taste has changed a lot more than I thought in the last couple years. I just can't seem to make myself listen to a song that repeats the exact same...

    10 favorite christian songs?

Yeah, I really like Delirious? as well. I prefer the song History Maker though. I don't know what it's like in germany, but the Songs History Maker by Delirious? and One Way by Hillsong United are the "classic" party songs for Youth worship services here in Switzerland :D

    10 favorite christian songs?

HB are awesome. I like them more than their secular counterparts (Nightwish, Within Temptation, etc.). Edit: Oh, and sorry, uploading copyrighted music is illegal in Switzerland, even though oddly downloading it and sharing it with close friends and family isn't. Edit 2: I love that song...

    10 favorite christian songs?

So, I was wondering what kind of stuff you guys listen to other than theocracy, and seeing as I don't care much for non-christian music, lets see what kind of songs that honor god you guys listen to  For me, in no particular order: You may have noticed that I...
