I really wish TIm had never left the band. He is an incredible player and songwriter. Anyone here a fan of Fobidden????I think Nevermore was a better band with him. Some of the solos in Dead heart have that Calvert feel to them. I hope Tim rubbed off a little on Jeff.

to the cover tunes cd that Nevermore was going to do. I thought they were going to put out one just before they started recording Dead heart. I would have loved to hear them cover Metal Churches 'beyond the black".

I remember seeing them tour together at least 10 years ago..Its hard to find a better death/thrash cd than Consuming Impulse. God I miss the old thrash days when bands like Atrophy, Coroner, Sacred Reich, Obituary, Forced Entry all toured together. Any other old school thrash fans out there???

I picked up the Century Media box set this weekend and found a Nevermore song that I hadnt heard before. Does anyone know when The systems failing 1st came out?? It sounds like a song from their 1st cd.

I havent heard anything but I thought I would throw out the question just in case. I'm seeing them tomorrow in denver and I cannot wait. This will be the 8 or 9 time I have seen them and I still get excited by it. It does suck that their not headlining. Savatage is not the same band they use to be..

The 1st song I heard was the cover of Love bites off the Judas Priest tribute cd. I crapped my pants and realized it was warrel from Sanctuary. Nevermore just keep blowing me away!!!

I realize this may be a stupid question, but I was curious. I dont think Savatage is as big as they use to be. Also, has anyone heard the live Sanctuary cd??? I've heard of it but I have never seen it. Is it any good??
