Depends how old that Marshall cab is... I find the newer T75's are really fizzy to my ears but the older 75's from JCM800 era cabs are much smoother. I have one that I mix in a 2x12 and it's well broken in and sounds great. The 75's in an X with V30's sound great. If that Marshall cab is new...

I'm with Matrix. Just ordered a Dimarzio 30th Anniversary PAF for my neck pup on my '96 MIK Epi LP... I like more bite and less bass in the neck pickup... also pairing it with a Super Distortion in the bridge!!!

Yeah that's exactly it. The El-34's are just a little too "nice" but these 6CA7's have that great bite and aggressiveness with that compression and just sound great to my ears... Getting a matched pair ASAP!!!

LOL... yeah it was fucking amazing man... they were really rolling at that point. Powerslave tour was amazing too but I didn't get 10 feet from the stage like I did with SIT... it was surreal to see them in action that close - incredible pro musicians they are!!!
