well said. it does get incredibly tedious the vast amounts of sexism inherent in the metal community. i love the music so i just don't care - and frankly if everyone on the opeth forum thought i was ugly, so what? a person is made of more than just looks

well i saw Opeth at Download in (i think) 2004 and they got a shit time, early in the morning, the sound system wasn't set up right as you could barely hear them (and i was near the front), the crowd seriously was not digging them and they only got 30 mins which is a maximum of three songs. it...

I know most people on the thread at saying Woods, and specifically Against the Seasons.. but I think their most recent album Pursuit of the Sun and the Allure of the Earth is amazing.. since downloading it two weeks ago I've listened to it atleast once every day :grin:
