Might be a ghetto idea. But I've had luck using a drum tuning phone app and write down the original drums tuning. Then when I get a same I like I hold the phone up to my monitor till it's the same tuning.

I do have Reaper, I've had it for awhile just haven't spent much time with it. I would be interested in seeing some videos on basics to help me switch. First thing that bugs me right off the top of my head is that the zoom for shift scroll is different. I might be able to change it. Just haven't...

After I am done with my current project, I think I'm going to try to switch over to Reaper. Learning all the commands of a new DAW seems really daunting.

Had I known that this was going to be the future of Pro Tools I would have made a better effort to learn Reaper back at pro tools 9....

Hopefully it sounds better than the cab simulator output on the rectifier recording pre.

This plugin isn't bad, I rather like the EQ and the delay is a nice addition too.

I thought gear obtained through endorsement had to go back to the manufacturer. I don't mean to get in your business, but I know a guy who got sued after selling and endorsed guitar.

I was just speaking on my experience at the time I bought it which was a few years ago. I am sure things have changed, as you said. One thing about MOTU though, I heard their customer service is horrible. I have never used it though.
