Word. Glad someone else sees it my way.

I've heard mixed reactions regarding Fear of a Blank Planet, but I, despite always finding myself sad listening to it, like it quite a bit. I'd get it.

Well, I do listen to quite a bit of pop music. Five for Fighting, Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple, *NSYNC, Michael Jackson. Meh, I'm not afraid to admit it.

Great review although I'd probably give it an 8 or 8.5.

Poor vocals. Or not necessarily 'poor' but different. For example, I really cannot get into Vader because the vocals put me off. I just don't like the vocalist's style of growling.

I've been listening to Dismantling Devotion by Daylight Dies a lot lately. Very good album.

Right now I'm really into Bryn Terfel. I think that he has the potential to be the greatest male vocalist ever. He did a wonderful job with Roger Waters' Ca Ira and pretty much everyone wants him.
