New album from Nydvind and possibly Bran Barr and maybe a proper release of Geasa's "Godslaughter"

I just hope he finishes it this year. From my understanding work is progressing, but it's simply not going to be done until it's done, and that's that.

2007 should indeed rule (even though 4 of the 5 discs you used as examples will most certainly suck:loco:).

Novembers Doom
Iced Earth x2
Moonsorrow
Kamelot
Primordial
Symphony X
Balance of Power
Circus Maximus
Dark Tranquillity
Pagans Mind
Redemption
Nevermore DVD

That Jesu could very easily be Album of the Year for LOTS and LOTS of people/magazines/webzines/etc./and so on/for ever more/until death do us part/where no man has gone before/blah blah blah/penis fart.

Is it just me, or do albums released quite early in the year tend to get forgotten on end of year lists? Or score somewhat low, comparitively?

Of the ones mentioned Jesu and Moonsorrow are my most anticipated (well I've heard the latter already and it fucking RULES). A new Megiddo would be good too.

I'm interesting in hearing the new Woods of Ypres too, although my expectations aren't particularly high.
