2009 UM Fantasy Football

Man, having a tough time deciding my lineup this week. Mostly I just hate to leave Steve Smith (NYG) on the bench, but the matchups for Sims-Walker and Hines Ward are very good this week. I am even tempted to see what Mike Bell will do, but it is probably wiser to see how he does after being out for a while.

Any thoughts?

Smith was the loser this week. Welker is going to have way more points than Ward.

Currently: NE 59, Ten 0

I dismissed your advice pretty much right away. :)

It's my own fault for being swayed away from my initial feelings. NE at Ten. Welker is a no-brainer. Pit at Cle, Ward should have been a no-brainer. But I looked at some rankings for week 6, all of which had Smith over Ward. My gut told me it was gonna be a tough day for Smith against NO. But the real problem was that the highest stats for the NYG receivers went to some WR named Nicks, who is 3rd in the depth chart for WR1.

No matter, I am winning this week.

Go MORT!!!

Purely based on my desire for all 4-1 teams to lose, allowing me to take 1st place.

I was a little premature to predict my victory, but as long as Rivers can get me about 4 points tomorrow night, I got it!

You, on the other hand, are in a more precarious situation.

How so? I'm currently up 35.72 points with a running back and kicker to play still and Mort has basically his QB left. Turner doesn't seem to be gaining many points in this game because of the Bears' run defense. I think I'm good tbh.

I am protesting the -3 pts given to QBs for a sack. It's not usually even their fault. The D already gets point for sacks. I think -3 is too much. The league default is 0. I think -1 at the most is applicable.

I know, I should have looked over our scoring scheme before the season started. Maybe it would not be fair to change it now.

^YEAH BABY, YEAH!

edit: You both have some pretty good matchups, but I think Dakryn's is better. He has 2 strong Charger players facing KC, a Indy receiver facing Stl, TE facing Was, NYJ RB facing Oakland...

Rick is in trouble...
