Fucking Tucson every time.. Why won't he play in a civilized town? Jesus fuck

OK, now that I have time and I'm not on my phone:

Neurosis are incredible. I've loved the band since Times of Grace came out (1999?), with my love sometimes growing and receding, but seeing them live really was akin to a spiritual cleansing. Everything disappeared and the entire crowd (the place was shoulder to shoulder) was in 'the zone'. After seeing them live, I predict my love for their music will increase a fuckton.

To see Through Silver in Blood live as the finisher was just epic. Beginning with the drummer and Steve Von Till pounding away to that tribal beat, then that riff, then all three vocalists bellowing/growling/screaming only to end with the drummer, Von Till, and Scott Kelly all pounding away on different drumsets yet in perfect unison. I've truly never seen anything like it.

If it sounds like I have a boner, I do.

I'm still not sure about the sample/keyboard guy. Half the time he's pounding on a sample board or something with constipated looks on his face.

Theyll go to lubbock (a dry college town) and fucking spic paso but not houston. Makes sense.

But ive seen enslaved. Dont care about the others.

so they still have the same setlist as five years ago I guess :loco:

yeah, Neurosis are among the great musicians of our time. Their discography is not exactly faultless but none of it is to be dismissed, and some of it calls for worship. I'll never forget how I felt listening to Souls at Zero for the first time back in 1993, it truly was like a gulf opening under my feet.

Well I enjoyed Wacken, Rockfels, and Nord this year. But King Diamond and Exodus are rolling through Tulsa , Ok this year in Dec so im going to go to that.
