ODIN'S COURT is looking for a 2nd guitarist/live backing vocalist. All candidates must have intermediate knowledge of music theory, technical playing ability (complex rhythms, odd times, etc.), strong rhythm playing, good stage presence, song-oriented playing style, backing vocal ability, and lead/solo guitar playing.
All applicants should provide recordings demonstrating they can meet the above requirements, with a minimum of the following: rhythm guitar playing example, lead guitar playing example, and backing vocal ability example. Not required (though welcomed and encouraged) are videos of applicants performing live or playing in unison with any Dream Theater song.
ODIN'S COURT is a progressive rock/metal band that has played many one off shows, performed a short tour of the East Coast, and participated in festivals nationally, sharing the stage with bands such as King's X, Helloween, Sonata Arctica, Crimson Glory, Jon Oliva's Pain (ex-Savatage), Funny Money (Steve Whiteman of Kix), Symphony X, Devin Townsend, Zero Hour, Kamelot, Spocks Beard, etc. ODIN'S COURT has released a DVD and various CDs (some on labels, some independently). The band is currently working on a concept album featuring several National guest artists that will be completed late this year and has genre-label interest pending the albums completion.
