...absolutely excellent. This was easily the best performance I've seen out of them (I think I've seen them 5 or 6 times now). Tons of energy, tons of moving around on the stage, lots of aggression; but at the same time they looked like they were having a great time on the stage. I was a bit worried what they'd sound like with Bryan from Clifton filling in but damn, he did a great job on vocals. Very different than Nathan, but it still fit really well with the music. They closed out the night with Last Fantasy Of Christ, which is probably my favorite Vehemence song.
Thine Eyes Bleed were pretty good, lots of excellent riffs and damn good drumming. Clifton was also very impressive, I was expecting something completely different after what I was told by one of my friends but they were great.
As far as local openers go; Barefoot Barnacle started it off and did a great job - I can't really describe their music but its quite 'crazy'. I really want to see them get a singer though. Embalmed (traditional death metal) played right before the touring dudes and they laid down a killer set. There were two more bands, but I didn't really dig 'em or recognize their names.
Anyone else go?
