4) Draconian
6) Eternal Tears Of Sorrow
8) Dark Tranquility
10) The Shadow Theory
Periphery would work only for that relatively small segment open to djent. AaL has a broader appeal but Glenn doesn't generally rock instrumentals (pity though, cause Joy of Motion is fucking brilliant). AtB would be oddball of the entire 15 year run, lol.
Tesseract could potentially happen, and they have a lot of fans amongst the board at a minimum. And I would lose my shit if any of those guys got booked. I mean, like, OrbWeaver:Falconer level shit losing.
Animals As Leaders has also been touring North Anerica pretty steadily lately, so the chance to catch them locally is probably pretty good.
I think Periphery would fit in well with the ProgPower crowd. The Prog folks would love the talent, the power folks would love the heaviness. And if they can handle Sanctuary and Overkill, the vocals won't bother them. Well, I'd hope. And yes, AtB would be. But they crush it live. I think they are as good as Leprous live, even though they don't have the clean vocals. 2 guys with 8 string guitars moshing on stage is a sight to see.
Unisonic, IQ, Newsted, King Diamond, Blaze Bayley, Onslaught, Force of Evil, Mercyful Fate, and Tony Martin.

I saw both After the Burial and Periphery live once. They were really.... the opposite of good.
Interestingly enough, i'd be a huge supporter of Between the Buried & Me, or Protest the Hero, or even The Dillinger Escape Plan on the fest. BTBAM should appeal to all the prog fans, PtH should(in a reasonable, perfect world) appeal to at least some pm fans and some prog fans, and TDEP should appeal to anyone with a sense of fun - and would be a crazy-as-fuck oddball band to get, comparable with when Glenn got Primordial.
I agree with you completely, but there's something about labeling a band "djent" that makes a lot of people recoil in horror.
Post with links to America tours of a lot of these acts being discussed:
Animals As Leaders / The Devil Townsend Project:

So you know King Diamond is touring:

As are Onslaught / Artillery / Striker:

Hopefully this helps you see two of the bands you want to see!
You mean, like labeling a band 'prog' ?
Seriously, this is ProgPower. If this audience can't open up their minds to new bands and sub genres, well, yeah.
