It grows on you, but none of the songs on the debut had to do that. They clicked instantly.
I am a superfan though, so I'm hoping for the best.

It is not out yet.
I'm a superfan in the sense that I still play the debut on a regular basis, bought it on CD and LP, saw them live, bought a shirt and am excited at the prospect of a new album and tour. Maybe that's just a regular fan. I feel pretty super though, so there's that.

I remember seeing Ghost on Myspace years ago, and seeing them selling the Elizabeth 7" for 7 Euro but didnt get it because I wasnt to into it at the time and didnt want to pay the shipping to America. Im kicking myself now for that..
