holy fucking shit

gameplay so far is basically unchanged except the scanning visor is improved

the plot is awesome. so creepy. the whole game so far has been really really creepy.

Metroid Prime is one of the best games I've played ever, and I heard this one is better in every single way... except for something lame at the end of the game, but w/e.

Metroid Prime was so amazing, so I'm really looking foward to Echoes.

Goddamn, so many games I have yet to play/finish: MGS3, San Andreas, Paper Mario 2, Half Life 2. Though my current obsession has been Final Fantasy Tactics (the playstation version- much harder than the gba one); it has the closest plot to a Shakespearian play of any Final Fantasy game.

Hah! Man I started up a game of Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1 just this week and it's just as awesome as I remembered. It is one of the best games out there in my opinion.

Doom 3 sure didnt live up to it's massive claims. I was expecting and FPS revolution, but got something just a bit better than mediocre. HF2 better deliver!

I've been hesitant to play Metroid Prime 2 because I hold Metroid Prime (and Super Metroid) in such high regard and I don't want to risk tarnishing my image of the series. The dark world seems pretty lame from what I've gathered, as it appears to drain your health unless you're inside one of those light shield things, and they've removed some classic weapons that have been a staple of the series and replaced them with guns that have limited ammo.
I was let down by Viewtiful Joe 2 (Viewtiful Joe being one of my favourite games), and I'd hate to have the same feelings with Metroid Prime 2, though I'll give it a go since I can't resist Metroid games.
