Honestly you could buy a 5150 and another really nice clean amp and come up with the same idea only it would probably be better.

yep i'm estimating a 5150 and a roland jc120 would blow that thing out of the water and you're looking at less than $1500 if you get them used.

Ive played one with the matching cab, there was one in Download festivals Jackson booth with a mark morton sig axe going through it. Really compressed feel but very tight and very sweet highs. Seems built well and sounds less raw than the original 5150 but smoother.

The pamphlet text suggests that the guitar and amp will both be available starting June 28, but the GC site only mentions the guitar.
