quick question. just like the "fabled" dual rectifier is the pre-500 2 channel which 5150 is the most popular one or the subject of urban legend. i've heard like the block letter or the signature. i know it is the head of choice on this board but i was wondering which one is the most coveted one.

They're all the same, even the 6505s. It's an urban legend. The ONLY difference is that they shipped with different stock tubes over the years. I prefer JJ/Tesla tubes myself. Incidentally, I'm selling my 6505+ if you're interested.
