Heh, I have no idea why I thought of that, rahvin, so don't ask me to elaborate. Since I tossed the first idea over some, hell, two years ago, I figured it's about time I used my second try.

Ok, I havn't worked it out but Im pretty sure
I've found some clues that are open for
interpretation and discussion!

After looking carefully at the album sleeve I noticed on the front of the album
the :.:: symbol is on its side (wait... it gets better) and you can actually see
through the dots on to the background, hidden by a white panel .

This made me think "PEEP HOLE"... all I came up with is clear in the following

So It seems a theme has been set up
by the spy hole Idea, however... the
"spy hole" only obviously applys to
Anders Jivarps photo .

But upon further examination I noticed "A Dot" In one of the pictures of
Michael Brandstrom. This ball looks like its shooting out of his hand,
and is fairly out of place in the Mise en scen of the picture...

can you see it...

Ok... Id say the things I've noticed are clues, but I cant interpret
them very precisely. If it were that looking through the holes is given you
an insight in to DT's Haven so to speak then there'd only be 6 dots
...Unless the seventh dot represents Fredrik or Anders, which is a plausible
thought. More Specifically it could have something to do with Anders Jivarp.
Like perhaps something to do with an anniversary ... Now Im totally
throwing mud at the wall and hoping it will stick .

I also just noticed Anders Jivarps name and Michael Nicklassens are mixed up
in the last part of the booklet... It says Jivarp did drums and Niklassen did
Bass ... probabli a typo. I'm all out of suggestions now but I bet
some of you can make something more out of these clues found within the
booklet.

wow.. I just rediscovered this topic through a link on the first page.. I didn't recall this being such a debated issue! i just thought that it simply meant LU as acronym of Love You!!!

anyway it's extremely interesting, I love speculating!

I actually couldn't resist and came up with something that I think nobody said until now.

if u take the fron cover and the back cover of Haven, u'll notice that in the same position there's the key and the upside-down symbol :.:: and the shape of the key reminds of the symbol!

so I think that this symbol is just an 'ascii-like' version of the key!!!

when it was brought up in the old forum I recall someone saying that the seven dots is a symbol for "human" (two legs, two arms, one torso, one head and one soul = seven) and the broken pattern meaning imperfection. if that's the correct term.. not perfect. get it?

I liked that explanation, it goes well with the title "Haven" as well, since the imperfect human will always yearn for or try to create his "Haven" that would make him whole or protect him from the downsides of his imperfectness.

It might be the key though, I dont think that's a coincidence
Now the question is, what's the Haven and how do we find the key?

i don't know about the jewel case, but the inside of the digipak case consists of the "backside key" with the dots on it, and on the other side a keyhole with the dots under it.

Now the question is, what's the Haven and how do we find the key?

the key symbol (if that's what it is) is on the actual disc as well, so maybe the album (i.e. music, creation) itself is the haven?

in the jewel there's no key on the inside.. but from what you're telling me my theory seems to be confirmed! could u take a pic of the inside of the digipack and post it please..
