hm, as the label :.:: is both on key and lock, it seems to be more a sign to what it unlocks, pretty much like a label on your keyring saying "cellar". so maybe :.:: means something else except the key after all...?

If you take the main seven stars of Ursa Major (or the Great Bear, or the Plough, or the Big Dipper), square the corners off, and make them all evenly spaced, you can make the :.:: symbol. If you follow these stars in sequence, starting with Apha Ursae Majoris for obvious reasons, the last star is called Alkaid, which is clearly a link to Al Qaida. Alkaid's Arabic name means "the leader". Furthermore, as anyone with a passing interest in astronomy knows, if you're in the northern hemisphere you can use Ursa Major to find north.

Al Qaida? Leader? A clear hint of direction? :.:: is obviously some kind of a map to Osama bin Laden's hiding place. And since Haven was released in 2000, DT clearly knew about bin Laden's hiding place before he needed to go into hiding. They were in on the planning. The only possible conclusion is that some or all of DT are high-ranking members of Al Qaida. It also means that we all support terrorism. Better put your helmets on, Dubya's going to be paying a visit pretty soon...

Notice the difference between the dots

On the lock it's :.:: while on the key it's the opposite ::.:

OK. My theory is this. I think it's a theory similar to what christians believe about a guy watching the entrance to heaven. There we have sky and earth.

This is more about your social life I believe. The key to inner peace, which is your HAVEN. Take emptier still for example. I believe that song is much about regret and wanting to do/ have done things different to find the key to HAVEN, the "key" to inner peace. Get it? Should I express myself more clearly?
 
Any of you guys ever asked them when you've bumped into them in the supermarket, or at a festival, or wherever it is you seem to always bump into them? I think I'll buy Nik a drink, shower him with compliments and then when he stands there dazed and humbled by my affection I'll casually bring up the 7 dots.
 
I don't even know if the closest forum members ever knew... or maybe Tranquillian did and was sworn to secrecy, I dont' remember. But supposedly there is a meaning, and while I joked before (because, c'mon, that's their sense of humor), I do think there is something there.
