6505 WITH or WITHOUT TS? (samples inside)

Havent taken the plunge yet dude, as I was still plotting which valves to go for. I think its going to be 9th gen chinese and JJ power tubes. I might start a thread to see if anyone has two spare V30's they want to shift Think they need to be 16 Ohms to x-patternin my marshall cab though.

Kev, tubes are JJ, then Shuguang, then JJ for the rest (might be a Sovtek in PI, can't remember). Did you get the V30's?

I forgot to mention that the powertubes are JJ and the Shuguang pre is an 8th Gen. Supposed to be very little difference between 8th and 9th.

Yeah you will need the 16 ohms V30's. Happy shopping.

I used to have JJ in mine. now it's ALL Tad (shuguang), cept the PI, which is still JJ.
