I like the sun in the winter, when it's not to hot. it's soooo beautiful in the mountains like in March/April when the there is sun and a blue sky, the snow glitterin like billions of diamants.... *sigh*. But I also like the sun when it's just a pale spot, almost like the moon, on the white sky. Like it was here earlier this morning. Everthing is white; the ground, the sky, the trees, the mountains.... Hhh, it's so lovely! A thing that is a little weird, though, is when you haven't seen the yellow sun for days, maybe week, and then it suddenly pops up on the sky. You thought it was bright before, but then you understand that you were wrong. That is a somewhat surreal feeling....
@FatherVic: the 24-hours-of-daylight-days last all summer (two - three moths), but it's only a few days in the middle of it, around solstice, that it doesn't set at all this far south (this is a little more to the north than Oslo). But that the sun set, doesn't mean it gets dark. It's just as if it was cloudy.
