A good site for LISTENING to metal.

Pandora Internet Radio - you tell them what you like, they play stuff like it. Great site for finding new bands or chilling to music. They have loads of metal, but also other stuff.

Rather limited, though. And it doesn't recognize a lot of the bands I would enter into its engine. It doesn't even accept Borknagar.

I do credit Pandora for my original discovery of Kaamos.

Pandora has spotty coverage of obscure bands, I'll admit. But I've found a number of bands through it. It's really good for people getting into metal.

It would. Deron should get on that. A partnership with Death.fm would be epic.

It is for bands you hear by words of mouth (or text) that you can just punch into a Myspace search and voila.

Pandora.com is great. You make your own radio. It pwns.

Thanks for mentioning this site. Looks like I'm going to be visiting quite often now. I like their recommendations based off your favorites.

And it's great that most band profiles on Metal-Archives have a myspace link at the bottom of the page.

and before I used Metal Archives, I used Wikipedia, which frequently also has links.
